// A Bit About Me

My Roots

I come from a family of cattle ranchers. My family owned a 14-section cattle ranch just outside the city limits of Monahans, TX. I spent most of my childhood living in this small town but also lived in other West Texas towns and even in Mountain Home, Idaho, for a while while my sibling's father was stationed at the Air Force base there. I witnessed great love in parts of my childhood but also experienced the effects of addiction and abuse from certain adults in my life. The trauma of the things I witnessed and experienced led me to start seeking God and led to me ultimately having a life-changing encounter with Him and giving him my life just before my freshman year of High School.

Ministry, Marriage, and Moving

In 2011, I left West Texas to move to Kansas City to attend a ministry school. While I was there, I met my amazing wife, Lyndsay. We got married a year after we started dating and, after another year, brought our beautiful daughter into the world. In 2014, my father was diagnosed with ALS. ALS is a terminal disease with no cure and a prognosis of 3-5 years. Due to his diagnosis and wanting to be there to help him, we moved to the Austin, TX, area where he lived in 2017. While moving to Austin, we got connected to a team that was planting a church and started helping them out with their plant. We were able to serve in various aspects of that ministry and loved every minute of it. We also had our amazing son while living in Austin in 2018. It was also while we were in Austin that I started getting involved politically, first as the Texas Young Republican Chaplain, then restarting the Williamson County Young Republicans as Chairman, and finally being appointed as the Young Republican National Federation (YRNF) Chaplain. During this time that I started my company, Code Collaborators, and stepped into the tech world. My father passed away in 2018, and after a few years of staying in Austin, we decided we needed to be closer to my wife's family and moved to the Tulsa, OK area in 2021.

Today

After moving several times since getting married and now having two children that were approaching school age Lyndsay and I decided it was time to put down roots. We settled in the Tulsa area and plan to stay here for the foreseeable future. When we moved to Tulsa I stepped in as the National Committeeman for the Oklahoma Young Republicans (OKYRs) while helping them relaunch. Since then I have been elected as the state chairman of the OKYRs and maintain my title of Chaplain with the Young Republican National Federation. I also hold the title of Chairman of the Young Professionals Council for the ALS Association of Oklahoma and volunteer in various other capacities.
