Ministry, Marriage, and Moving
In 2011, I left West Texas to move to Kansas City to attend ministry school. While there, I met my amazing wife, Lyndsay. We were married a year after we started dating and, not long after, welcomed our beautiful daughter into the world.
In 2014, my father was diagnosed with ALS—a terminal disease with no cure and a difficult prognosis. Wanting to be close and support him, our family moved to the Austin area in 2017, where he lived. During that season, we became involved with a church plant and had the opportunity to serve in a variety of ministry roles, which was both meaningful and formative for our family. While living in Austin, we also welcomed our son in 2018.
It was during this chapter of life that I became more engaged in civic and community leadership and began exploring ways to contribute thoughtfully to broader cultural conversations. Around the same time, I founded Code Collaborators, marking my entry into the technology and entrepreneurship space.
My father passed away in 2018, and after several more years in Austin, we felt called to be closer to Lyndsay’s family. In 2021, we relocated to the Tulsa area, where we continue to focus on faith, family, service, and building meaningful work.
