// A Bit About Me

My Roots

I come from a family of cattle ranchers. My family owned a 14-section cattle ranch just outside the city limits of Monahans, TX. I spent most of my childhood living in this small town but also lived in other West Texas towns and even in Mountain Home, Idaho, for a while while my sibling's father was stationed at the Air Force base there. I witnessed great love in parts of my childhood but also experienced the effects of addiction and abuse from certain adults in my life. The trauma of the things I witnessed and experienced led me to start seeking God and led to me ultimately having a life-changing encounter with Him and giving him my life just before my freshman year of High School.

Ministry, Marriage, and Moving

In 2011, I left West Texas to move to Kansas City to attend ministry school. While there, I met my amazing wife, Lyndsay. We were married a year after we started dating and, not long after, welcomed our beautiful daughter into the world. In 2014, my father was diagnosed with ALS—a terminal disease with no cure and a difficult prognosis. Wanting to be close and support him, our family moved to the Austin area in 2017, where he lived. During that season, we became involved with a church plant and had the opportunity to serve in a variety of ministry roles, which was both meaningful and formative for our family. While living in Austin, we also welcomed our son in 2018. It was during this chapter of life that I became more engaged in civic and community leadership and began exploring ways to contribute thoughtfully to broader cultural conversations. Around the same time, I founded Code Collaborators, marking my entry into the technology and entrepreneurship space. My father passed away in 2018, and after several more years in Austin, we felt called to be closer to Lyndsay’s family. In 2021, we relocated to the Tulsa area, where we continue to focus on faith, family, service, and building meaningful work.

Today

After moving several times early in our marriage and with two children approaching school age, Lyndsay and I felt it was time to put down roots. In 2021, we settled in the Tulsa area, where we plan to remain for the foreseeable future. During this season, I became more deeply involved in community, civic, and nonprofit leadership while continuing to expand my professional work. Through an acquisition, I joined HPH Interests as a partner, where I have helped spearhead the growth of the firm’s portfolio by building new products and leading strategic initiatives. This work has included identifying and executing acquisitions, such as the addition of BizeeBay in 2025. Alongside this, I remain actively involved in volunteer and leadership roles within professional, nonprofit, and service-oriented organizations, including work supporting the ALS community through the ALS Association of Oklahoma. These experiences continue to shape my approach to leadership, service, and building organizations with purpose.
